Light it up!
Sunday is Yakima’s annual Downtown Christmas Lighted Parade, and even though it’s usually pretty darn cold out, it’s worth seeing. Starting at 5:30 p.m. on South Sixth Avenue, the caravan of brightly lit cars, trucks, semis, bikes, trailers (and sometimes people) continues down Yakima Avenue, ending at South Third Street, where revelers will light up the community Christmas Tree as well. Note: We hear Santa Claus will be making an appearance … we hope you’ve been nice. And we hope to see you out there!

- The Grinch!
- We bet it’s a little slower with all those lights on it.
