Local coffee shops offer more than just your morning cup

Don’t be fooled by its diminutive size – Le Cup packs a lot more into its storefront than your favorite soy latte.  Keri Roehl, who opened Le Cup earlier this year on Front Street, makes brown-bag lunches, English Muffin breakfast sandwiches, and a popular Saturday morning breakfast that changes each week (anyone for a blueberry and bacon waffle?).  Roehl says the McTavish shortbreads she stocks are “the bomb,” along with Bubble Tea. Le Cup began carrying some kitchen wares such as bowls and pitchers in October, as well as specialty hot cocoa.

Thought you couldn’t be surprised by coffee? Try the frozen Tom-Tom.  Owner Cassie Gordon says it’s the most popular drink: “By far the favorite.”  They also offer fresh fruit smoothies all year as well as hot, iced or blended drinks.
